Highlights from the first of a series of panels on science and Islam, presented by the American Islamic Congress and Project Nur, with support from the John Templeton Foundation. This first panel, Qur’anic Concepts and Scientific Theories, was held on April 4th, 2012, at University of Iowa. The panel was moderated by Dr. Ali Hasan, assistant professor of Philosophy at the university, and featured Dr. Nidhal Guessoum, professor of Physics at the American University of Sharjah, UAE and Dr. Salman Hameed, professor of Integrated Science and the Humanities at Hampshire College, and myself.
